President: Emily Chang and Allison Chang

- Represents the MITBDC at campus meetings
- Presides over officer's meetings
- Oversees all BDC activities
- Drafts the budget with the Treasurer
- Schedules workshops and parties with the Vice President
- Must be a MIT student


Vice Presidents: Brian Whalen

- Assigns teachers for workshops
- Recruits new teachers
- Schedules workshops and parties with the President
- Assumes the role of President in his/her absence
- No MIT affiliations required. Open to everyone


Assistant to the President: Daisy Jao

-Assists the President in organizing weekly workshops to ensure everything goes smoothly.


Treasurer: Chris Cheng

- Balance checkbook, makes deposites after workshops
- Issues checks for reimbursements
- Keeps track of itemized expenses and income
- Drafts the budget with the President
- Must be a MIT student


Membership Secretary: Wendy Morsberger and Jim Griffeth

- Processes new and renewed memberships
- Maintains record of members
- No MIT affiliations required. Open to everyone


Workshop Manager: Jeffrey MacCollum and Xiang Li

- Organizes the setup and takedown of the workshops
- Makes sure the lessons run smoothly
- No MIT affiliations required. Open to everyone


Publicity Chair: (open)

- Maintains the bulletin board in the Infinite Corridor
- Makes posters and flyers
- Sends out weekly e-mails to the BDC mailing list
- Must be a MIT student/staff


Social Director: Maureen Ferguson

- Organizes refreshments and food at dances
- Recruits volunteers for desk at parties
- No MIT affiliations required. Open to everyone


Music Director: Taro Muso

- Maintains and keeps an updated inventory of the Club's music collection
- Acquires new music for the Club
- No MIT affiliations required. Open to everyone


Webmaster: Jen Jao

- Creates and maintains the Club's webpages.
- Must be a MIT student/staff


Space Coordinator: Lan Wang

- Reserves rooms for workshops and parties
- Arranges for licenses and police at parties
- Arranges for audio equipments from MIT for dances
- Must be an MIT student/staff


Desk Captain: Diana Ding

- Runs the admission desk during workshops
- Maintains the desk supplies
- Recruits volunteers
- No MIT affiliations required. Open to everyone



Benefits for BDC officer include free membership and attendance to all BDC-sponsored events.
MIT student who serves as an active BDC officer will be annually awarded with $50 gift certificate.
