The following pertains to workshops taught during the academic year. Workshop Levels We offer a series of six lessons per dance. Under this program, emphasis will be placed on improving the styles and proper footsteps of the dancers. Level I:
Beginner workshops require no experience in ballroom dancing.
We teach the basic step and two or three beginner steps.
These lessons are typically taught by experienced amateur dancers#. Level II:
Beginner Level. No experience necessary.
There will be a review of Lesson I, with special emphasis on proper footing,
leading/following, and body movements.
These lessons are typically taught by experienced amateur dancers#. Level III:
Intermediate workshops require the experience of the basic steps.
More difficult steps and sequences will be taught.
These lessons are typically taught by experienced amateur dancers#. Level IV:
Intermediate Level. Knowledge of the basic steps required.
There will be a review of Lesson III with stress on proper style.
New steps will also be taught.
These lessons will be taught by professional instructors. Level V:
Advanced Level. Knowledge of the basic and intermediate steps strongly recommended.
Advance steps and sequences will be taught by professional instructors. Level VI:
Advanced Level. Knowledge of the basic and intermediate steps strongly recommended.
