A number of Teaching Assistantships provide a stipend as well as full tuition remission. Teaching Assistantships have full responsibility for courses in composition and literature. Students interested in TA positions should check the appropriate box on the back of their application form, and submit the application form by February 15. (No other application is needed.)
If you would like to apply for a TA position after you are enrolled, submit a letter by February 15. Contact Kathryn Goodfellow.
No other financial aid is offered through the department. If you are a US resident and require more financial aid information, the NU Graduate and Law Financial Aid office can determine your eligibility for a variety of Federal loans and work-studies.
