Welcome
Bugle is a 5.7 Teraflops Blue Gene supercomputer used to explore the use of the Blue Gene
architecture for QCD and related science applications, to develop the most highly optimized
software that the architecture allows, and to utilize this system for fundamental QCD
physics calculations.
This resource is used by MIT physicists including faculty, postdocs, graduate students
and senior thesis students.
The project is funded by the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE).
