We have attempted to answer some commonly asked questions for your convenience.

Does MIT Bhangra do performances upon request?

Yes, we are open to doing local or out-of-state performances upon request based on our availability and the type of performance. We do 8-10 minute performances. We cannot accomodate longer performances unless you would like us to do our routine multiple times. We also accept payment for our performances if applicable and appropriate. Please contact our Executive Board if you would like to request a performance, and please provide the date, time, and type of event.

 

Do you have videos available of older performances?

MIT Bhangra does not own any videos of older performances, so we are unable to provide this service.

 

Does MIT Bhangra rent out costumes?

We have recently started renting out our two sets of older costumes. We are very keen upon the maintenance of our performing/competing costumes and therefore do not rent those ones out. If you wish to rent our costumes, please contact us.

 

Does MIT Bhangra rent out other equipment (Dhols, etc.)?

We do not rent out any of our equipment in order to keep it in best possible condition.

 

Do you teach how to play the Dhol or other instruments?

We do not provide any such service.

 

Can MIT Bhangra translate Punjabi song lyrics for me?

We do not provide this service.
