Publicity for "The Threepenny Opera"

The Idea

It is often easier to start with the director's concept for a show than to come up with one oneself.

As I sat listening to Ky's vision for the show, I quickly conjured up a vivid mental image of a knife pinning lingerie to a wall. She went on to say that she would like to get a message of "corporate greed" across, but that she didn't expect that to necessarily be reflected in the graphic. Money was quickly added to my mental picture, and voila! The idea was born.

The Graphic

Nominally reproduced in color, it also works in grayscale.

The Poster

Printed on 11" x 17" (tabloid) paper.

The Flyer

Printed on 8.5" x 11" pastel paper. Use salmon or yellow for better results.

Advertisements

Each ad is uniquely adapted for the environment it will find itself in.

The Drop Poster(s)

Our drop poster space in Lobby 7 (kiosk #1, from 7/24-7/30) is 46.5" x 92". That's pretty big.

Print the following PDF onto overheads at various magnifications (e.g. 100%, 80%, 60%). Depending on the environment I find myself tracing/painting in, a smaller version may be the best one. Then project, trace, and paint.

Apparel

A variety of shirts and buttons are available AT COST through my new CafePress.com storefront. Order now, so people can stop you and ask about your shirt---better yet, they might even come to see the show.

I recommend putting orders together to save on shipping.

The Table Tent

Table tents should be reproduced in 8.5" x 11" format, portrait, black and white.

To create the table tent, fold the sheet in half across its middle. Cut across the middle. You should have two folded and separate table tents.

Program Cover

Reproduced in black and white, 5.5" x 8.5".
