Anindita Basu '02 (Woman) is a Visiting Scholar at the Media Lab. She enjoys singing, dancing, reading children's novels and making piles. She was in her first play in kindergarten, in which she played a flower. In the first grade play, she was a cow. Since college, Anindita has been a choreographer and acted in such diverse roles as a Puritan, Mary Magdalene, and a black woman. Anindita is looking forward to singing a pregnant woman and Betsy Ross. |

Aaron Dinkin (Vocal Director) didn't quite realize, when he agreed to vocal-direct this show, just how much vocal in it there was to direct. He's glad to have found eight people who sing so much better than he does, because he wouldn't have been able to sing the entire show by himself. |

Catherine Havasi '03 (Producer, Stage Director, Costume Manager, Publicity, Program Designer) switched from directing straight plays to musicals last January to direct Trial By Jury. Between then and now, she has been producing and production stage managing too many shows. This "break," however, still hasn't stopped her from making actors stand on pieces of furniture with little or no apparent motivation. |

Jimmy Jia G (Orchestra Director) has been involved with many classic shows, such as Invasion of the Green Tissue Paper and That Thing In Your Ear. He likes to pretend to be a grad student in Course 3 during the day, but in real life, he panhandles off the corner of Beacon and Harrison. |

Susan Juan '02 (Woman) got roped into doing her first show at MIT after graduating Course 7 last year. She still sings with MIT Concert Choir and TCC Choir and has chemistry fun with AXE. She is very happy to join the cast as a proud member of the Sassy Anti-Quartet. Susan also makes occasional appearances as a graduate student in Biomedical Engineering at Boston University. |

Paiyarut "Jean" Kanjanavaikoon '02 (Woman, Publicity) swears she'll run away from theater but forgets to do it just as often. A lab rat reluctant to emerge from the maze, Jean does research at BU Medical and dreams of cheese wrapped in med school acceptance letters. She would like to thank Catherine and Aaron for believing in her and Jeremy for unwittingly offering encouragement when it was most needed. |

Jeremy Nimmer '00 (Percussion) is happy to be back at MIT for his first show as an alum, with special thanks to this enthusiastic cast! He's most recently played with MTG in Anything Goes, Chess, and Evita, and with Dramashop in Grand Hotel. He's also joined the Worcester premiere of Les Miserables, and previously, West Side Story. When not earning his living as a software engineer, he dreams of the day he can perform Miss Saigon. |

Jeremy Sawicki '99 (Piano) is happy to have this opportunity to play some excellent music and work with such a talented group of people. He has previously been seen (or heard) on the piano in Trivial Pursuits and Charlie and Algernon, as well as in the frequent supporting role of rehearsal pianist. He would like to say that if there are any missing notes in the show, it is because he is still playing around all the bad keys on the rehearsal pianos. |

Rob Speer '06 (Man) has left his dark past behind him. For one thing, Darth Vader probably couldn't sing a high A flat. |

Daniel Taub '06 (Man) is a freshman who only knows for sure that he's never really going to know what he is majoring in, though he recently declared course 6. This is Dan's first performance at MIT, as well as his first performance in a musical. His greatest aspiration (for this week at least) is that of not destroying anyone's glasses during the show with his supremely uncomfortable high notes. Former roles include Jose in Up the Down Staircase, Oberon in A Midsummer Night's Dream, and the White Knight in Alice in Wonderland. |
