Rosalind Martin's first television role was in the college soap opera Ivory Tower, where she performed blind due to problems with glasses and glare. Since then, Martin has acted in a number of shows, including two series created by A. Shultz: Hook Harbor (1997-1998) and The New Inquisition (2000-2001). The latter marked her first work with Hippocratic Oath creators Mike Person and Laura Baldwin, who, along with Hippocratic Oath actress Marleigh Norton, were part of the ensemble cast. Hippocratic Oath is Martin's first Baldwin/Person production, and her first future-based genre show.
