Dr. Kye's Analysis of the Yin-Yang Amulet

For those who are curious, here is what I got after examining the pendant:

The owner is a Roger Lang. (No clue who he is.)

Its purpose is to provide the wearer with an personal sense of community and purpose, and to serve as proof of membership on occasion. To provide a visual reminder of what is at stake, what is being protected. (No, I don't know what is being protected.)

The pendant is made out of colored ceramic and silver. The ceramic is actually a bit unusual, in that it's not a standard composition that I've encountered before. Not peculiar so much as different. (Like, if you were to encounter gold stamped "23.78 Karat!")

It has no other operational mode than to wear it.

Further Analysis

They come from somewhere you've never been. There are definitely more of them, but it's unclear how many or where. Though probably at least some somewhere on Sanctuary.
