I found the official archives.  The people who run them admit that most of
the records of the transition period have been lost in the Info Wars, their
records are more recent.

Some of the under-archivists are willing to go so far as to think it
plausible that there could have been some minor things swept under the rug
due to the loss of records, but I it doesn't feel like there was a vast
historical rewrite.

Didn't find Margot Bellarion, or what the "temptations" might have been.

Sorry I didn't have time to do more looking; I wanted to check university
archives, and maybe some private ones.  But without knowing more
specifically what you're looking for, this could be a really long search.
