Intuition: Hegemonic Bloodlines

2779.087 -- I've been considering the what we know of the hegemonic blood lines and the Amulet of verification...

1. Cassandra portrayed Arista Nomarche as a green gem in her painting of the founding of the Blue Hegemony.
2. Vissarion and Ambros Nomarche had the same eye pattern as Katya.
3. Donella and Doraine lit up the blue light on the Amulet of Verification.
4. Vissarion lit up the green light on the Amulet of Verification.
5. The Omphalos Dust Worm said the Hegemonic blood lines were created to each focus 1/3 of the power of the race to protect them from the flames.

Based on that, I think...

Each of the bloodlines can be labeled one of red, green, and blue. These labels are symbolic rather than strictly descriptive (i.e. there is probably not a hidden colored gemstone inside their brains), but the symbolism is a consistent one, suggesting that the colors have been part of the label from the beginning. There are physical characteristics associated with the bloodline, such as eye color and marks, though they are not necessarily obvious or meant to be identifying marks to a casual observer. It takes all of red, green, and blue light to produce white light; starlight is (approximately) white.
