1. Kaufman goo cannot completely destroy Black. Any Kaufman goo used to treat Katya -- especially right now -- will become contaminated. Should she need to use the Tubes, we should put her in the portable one, which has a seperate supply from the rest of it. Note that a sufficent dose of Black might actually cure the Kaufman degeneracy, leaving the person then addicted to Black/White. (not a method I recommend.)
2. The high from Black is going to last a, um, while. It's on the same timeframe as our 'awake' cycle. usually, it's not less that a few weeks, and could last months.
3. Kith, Jayla, Eva -- Given that I can now create more Kaufman goo, (see the next point) if you can talk Katya into the portable tube, I think you should. The less time she spends on the Black high, the less her psychological addiction will be, and hopefully, the sooner we'll be able to get the Black nanites out of her system. Worst case, possibly we can just keep 'flushing' her with a fresh set of Kaufman goo every time she goes into the tubes. Black may be capable of overpowering Green, but we can keep making Green, and the Green will at least weaken the Black. At this time, I don't have a better suggestion for dealing with the physical addiction.
4. I can make more of the Kaufman goo. It's mostly possible because we already have a Kaufman goo supply, but from here on out, we're not going to run out of it. I think I might be able to make it from scratch, but if we are careful, that shouldn't become an issue.
5. I have Inspiration for a research project that will create something that can be used to stave off Kaufman degeneracy, in a portable druglike form. Essentially, it would be green-lite, which we could self administer rather than returning to the tubes. No healing properties, just putting a hold on the Kaufman degredation. I'm going to start pursuing that project immedieatly, under the hope that it may have further knowledge useful for creating a final cure.
6. Annoyingly enough, I don't quite yet have inspiriation for the Full and Final Cure.
