So having had it suggested that hegemon's were gentically engineered, we tested Jayla and Katya and discovered that they do both show traces of similar genetic engineering, several (many?) generations back, of a type I'm not familiar with (neither uplifting nor whatever-was-done-to-the-Tarn). Kith and Janzur have volunteered to get tested as well, just for comparision. If anyone else thinks they're likely to have weird genetic things, or is just interested, let me know, and I'll try to finish running the tests while we bum around on Stannis.
