All the following "ratings" are actually a full standard dev bellow what they rate on average. That should be enough of a safety net. I'm also assuming everyone has 5 levels of PP; if this isn't right, let me know. > Vertaki: 13 Vertaki, average Str/Pre of psi 7-8, including 1 Architect. I think the Vertaki will probably all want to be in the Pre group, since we have oodles of strength. They rate 1.1 to 1.2, or a total of about 15 successes. > Rosicrucians and others recruited by Friedling: > ~20 people, average Str/Fortune: 5-6 They will rate 0.85 to 1.0. That's 17-20 total successes. If they were fortune, and spent their fortune, they'd rate 1.5 to 1.65, or a total of 30-33 successes. > ~20 people, average Str/Fortune: 7 These people rate 1.8 successes if they spend their fortune on the roll. That's 36 out of the 50 we need. Add the set of attendants, and I expect that will be close to enough. If they don't add their fortune, they're only worth 1.1 each, for 22 successes. > Creek students: ~50 people, average Str/Fortune 6-7 They will rate 1.0 to 1.1 successes each, or a total between 50 and 55. That's enough for basically one full category. So, taking the middle, with no spending of fortune, the non-Vertaki will get 92.5 of the 105 points we need for strength and fortune. Assuming the fortune group spends their fortune, we're well over the 105, and can probably afford to shunt some people into the Pre group, where we don't have very many at the moment. This also doesn't include anyone else (Stormbreaker, Eon&Ella, etc.) that we have recruited, none of the PCs, and no spending of karma. For the Pre group, it would be useful to know what Jayla can do as far as buffing a large-ish group. If there are a bunch of her followers in the group, she can probably have them roll for 10s (2 successes for 11s would get 16 people rolling for 10s; 2 for 12s would get 32 people rolling for 10s). That would make, say, any of her followers from Vircus rate 0.7. If she can buff 16 of these people, that's 11.2; 36 would provide us with 25 successes. With the Vertaki and 16 buffed Vircans, that's only about halfway there. 32 buffed Vircans is much closer (40 out of 55 successes accounted for). (Note that if the Vertaki, or other high-Pre people, were followers of Jayla they'd each rate 1.5 to 1.8. Assume that won't happen, though.) Bottom line: we need about 25-30 successes more Pre. Some of this can come from the groups that are labelled as Str/For, we need to do a little more number crunching. ***Note that this calculation does not account for the 10 psis promised by Belle; if we can get them fast enough to actually train them, then they probably rate like the Vertaki, i.e. 10-12 successes among them. ***Update: we have Brocoah and some from IPX,so Pre is covered **Another bit of news I can't think where to put: Ace has developed probablity-manipulation, and can do some buffing (roll D12) The other thing to worry about is the post-10 rolls. ***I think we have this mostly covered
