- Persuasion is for persuading someone via rational or emotional
argument, whether it be written or verbal, in conversation or via
news conference (that is, it need not be interactive).
- Conversation can be used to both persuade and find things out, in
conversation. It is always interactive.
- Fast-talk is for convincing someone, in GURPS parlance,
"to make a snap decision in your favor". It's for making the
immediate untruth convincing, for snowing someone and keeping going
when you don't have time for persuasion.
All three of these are four-point skills (unlike Drew's run); four
points is not an "extra-broad" version.
They may be combined in appropriate circumstances (persuasion and
conversation, for example) (unlike Charles's run.)
