Judges

Many aspects of the war require some sort of subjective decision or expertise on the part of judges. The head judges wish to assure you that all due diligence will be used to make fair and accurate rulings.

If the contest involves figuring out which octopodes are at the greatest altitudes from pictures, and the results are somewhat unclear, we'll consult really tall people for their expertise. If the contest involves deciding which of three poems and/or photographs exemplifies ennui, we'll ask someone with the back of their hand on their forehead to help us out. That sort of thing.

No expense will be spared in geting the best results possible. (Assuming no actual expenses are needed.)

Wikipedia and GoogleFight will often be considered authoritative.

Judges (and their numerous expert witnesses) will be asked to occasionally provide commentary to give contestants insight into the judging process.

Appeals of judicial decisions may be made by submitting them to the Appeals Board. Appeal requests must be in sentences of eight words in length to be considered.

Decision of the Head Judge of the Day is final. (Unless sucessfully appealed and changed on a later day.)

Frivolous appeals will be dealt with as appropriate.
