The BrazilianClub@Sloan is a student run, non-profit organization, composed of
students from the different academic programs at Sloan. It includes MBAs, LFMs,
Sloan Fellows and other students from the MIT community. Our members are Brazilians
citizens or people who have a strong interest or connection with our country.
The BrazilianClub@Sloan organizes several events aiming at promoting
the image of Brazil among the Sloan community, integrating its members, disseminating
Sloan brand in Brazil and facilitating the contact with potential employers.
In
recent, the BrazilianClub@Sloan has organized several events to accomplish its
goals. Some of the most representatives include the Sloan Brazilian Week, the
traditional Brazilian C-function, the Sloan Latin American Conference (co-organized
with the Latino Business Club), as well as lunches and events with relevant personalities
from Brazil or the academic community.
Among the most recent participants
of events organized by the club, we can cite José Serra, Pedro Parente,
Mauricio Botelho, Prof. Kristin Forbes, Prof. Roberto Rigobon and Prof. Stewart
Meyers.
This web site is an initiative of the club members, represents the
true entrepreneurial spirit of the club, and serves as a communication instrument
that we use to reach the Sloan community and also a broader audience of prospective
students and other interested groups.
