7.013 Study Break/ Review Session

Cramming for that post-Spring break midterm? After the official 7.013 review session, come grab food, study with other 7.013 students, and get your questions answered by an Exec member. After the success of last semester's study break/ review session in Maseeh, we decided to bring it back this semester. Hope to see lots of you there!
Every year, we help represent the Biology Department at CPW, to help prefrosh (and curious freshmen!) understand what being course 7 at MIT is like. Come find Bexec members at the Biology Open House on April 10, 7-8PM in 68-180, and at the CPW Academic Expo on April 11th, 2-4PM in Johnson.

MATLAB Biostatistics Workshop
April 26, 2PM-5PM. 56-114.
MathWorks representatives will provide a hands-on introduction to MATLAB for biological data analysis. The workshop will conclude with a short MicroHackathon challenge. Food will be provided. RSVP is now available! Go to bit.ly/BioMATLAB.
Outreach: Cambridge Science Festival
We are partnering with the Museum of Science at this year's Cambridge Science Festival! You can catch us helping out with their demos and activities. We look forward to being involved even more in the future!

Considering majoring in biology? Curious about what biology majors do? Come hear from the professors themselves! Several course 7 professors will each give a five-minute lightning lecture about a biology class that they teach. Afterwards, students will be able to ask the professors questions about their class. Hosted in association with DEX, Departmental Exploration.

Activate your olfactory and gustatory GPCRs with tasty treats! While you're there, you can hear about our HHMI lecture on March 13 with Dr. Lefkovitz, who characterized the structure and function of GPCRs.
Faculty Lunches/ Dinners
BUSA hosts informal lunches and dinners with MIT Biology professors, giving students the opportunity to meet and talk to professors in the department about classes, research, etc.
