Scenario 1: Harassment


Introduction : Console Chris : Offer to listen

You chose: Say, “Feel free to talk to me if you want.”

You figure your brief conversation with Chris didn’t accomplish anything. Two days later, though, Chris calls you and asks if you know that the procedure is for moving to a different professor’s lab to finish a Ph.D.

Suggest that she talk to the Chair of the Department.
Go With P
Say, “Don’t let Prof. X get away with that. You should confront him.” Chris thanks you and hangs up.
