Ashdown House
The Memorial Drive eventually intersects with Mass Ave., which divides the campus into two big segments: academic units to the east and student living blocks to the west. At the northwestern corner of the junction of Mass Ave and Memorial Drive is Ashdown House, a co-ed graduate student dorm. Further to the west along the Memorial Drive (as shown in the photo) are other on-campus student housing complexes. Most prominently, the tall brown building, the MacGragor Hall, for undergrads and the tall tan building, the Tang Hall, for first-year grad students. The distance from Tang Hall to Ashdown House is about a half mile.
