The Stick, the Wedge and the Ugly Bridge
East to the McDermott Court is the end of the main campus block bounded by Ames Street. The edge-shaped Building 66 (also designed by I. M. Pei), which maximally utilize the available land, points to the main court of the eastern campus, whose building numbers are prefixed by the letter E. The stick to the left is the Green Building. The bridge connects the the new biology building (Building 68) to the rest of the main campus buildings. This bridge has been voted by students as the ugliest construction on campus.
