Motel Hallway
Steven's Motel, State College, PA

As soon as I left my house for the trip, my laptop, which has a DeLorme's Street Atlas and GPS system installed, refused to start. I managed to boot it up, but the hard disk crashed in just a couple hours. I spent several hours on the road trying to fix it in vain. That night, I checked into a motel at State College, PA, and spend several hours and finally reinstalled the Win95. After a good night sleep, I started to feel the excitement for the roads ahead. My enlightened mood wasn't affected by the rain; even the motel's plain hallway looked splendid to me. While warming up my car, I took this first shot of the trip.
