First Snow
Along US-191 in Galletin National Forest, Montana. I lost my tripod two days earlier before entering Yellowstone, and it rained on me the following day. I went to Bozeman, MT, to buy another tripod and this was on my way coming back to Yellowston, from west.
October 3, 1998Nikon N90s with Nikkor AF-Zoom ED 80-200mm f/2.8 at 160mm; 1/5" at f/11. Manual exposure; spot metering. Film: Fujichrome Velvia (ISO 50).
