Monument Valley
Monument Valley (on the border of Utah and Arizona) was my fifth stop in my
5-day Lone Journey in Deserts. I
squeezed several hours from the day I toured the Arches National Park to
make this trip, for a chance to drive through the area. It was a beautiful
area, unfortunately time limited my shooting to a same groups of buttes and
mesas only along a short stretch of US163. The dramatic changes of
lighting hopefully justified the repetition of these photos to some extent.
