ZSDSPONCODE - Update Customer Sponsor Code

Use these steps to sponsor code old sponsor research customers in the 993xxxxxxx number range. With this procedure you can sponsor code multiple old customers simultaneously.

1. Get started (SAP menu path, fast path)
2. Update Group Key to Sponsor Code on SR Customers: initial screen
3. Update Group Key to Sponsor Code on SR Customers: select records
4. Update Group Key to Sponsor Code on SR Customers: update sponsor code

1. Get Started

• SAP menu path

  Role ZSBM => Accounts Receivable=> Master Records=> Sponsor Research Customers => ZSDSPONCODE - Update Customer Sponsor Code

• SAP Fast Path

  At the Command Line, enter: /nZSDSPONCODE

2. Update Group Key to Sponsor Code on SR Customers: initial screen

1. Organization: (Enter all or part of customer name, using * as wildcard, for example Hewlett*)

2. Customer number range: (default is all MIT customers; you can narrow range to old sponsor research customers)
   

3. Click on or F8

   A screen lists any customers matching the organization name and number range entered, as shown below. Sponsor code, if there is one, displays in the rightmost column.

3. Update Group Key to Sponsor Code on SR Customers: select records

By default all customer records are selected (see leftmost column). You can unselect customer records for which you do NOT want to update sponsor code - by unclicking the box in the leftmore column.

For example, on the above screen you might want to unselect the "new" customers (numbers beginning with 860) for which a sponsor code already exists.

4. Update Group Key to Sponsor Code on SR Customers: update sponsor code

1. Click on or press F8

   The Enter Sponsor Code window opens, as shown below.

   

2. Type in the correct sponsor code for the selected records and click on

   The screen is updated with the new sponsor code(s) (not shown).
