From this web page, you can download the latest version
of E-Time (v5.00a; filename = SUMTIME.LBR).

- Before downloading, you need to quit E-Time.
- To download,
- Click here for SUMTIME.LBR,
v5.00a.
You need a certificate to download
this file. For more information about certificates, see: http://web.mit.edu/is/cert/
- (Mac users) If prompted about what to do with
the 'octet stream', click on "save file".
- At the "Save as..." dialogue box,
- (Windows users) Check the filename of the
file to download. The file type needs to be LBR rather than
EXE. You can change it to LBR, if needed.
- You should download the file into your
SUMMIT folder. Use the dialogue box to locate your Summit folder,
usually in "C:\Program Files". On Macs, the Summit
folder is sometimes in an Applications folder.
Note: Alternatively, you can move the downloaded file
to your SUMMIT folder after downloading.
- When ready, click on SAVE.
- When prompted to replace an older version
of SUMTIME.LBR, click YES.
- To run your new version of E-Time,

Windows users |
Run SumMIT or E-Time as usual. If your
shortcut doesn't work, follow the steps below.
- Start Windows Explorer,
- Open your Summit folder,
- Find SUMTIME.LBR and double click on it,
- Enter your userid and password and logon.
When done, you can make a shortcut to SUMTIME.LBR for future
use.

Mac users |
The FIRST time you run the new SUMTIME.LBR (which
may appear as a text file), you need to do ONE of the following:
- Run SumMIT (filename= SUMMIT.LBR) as usual; from the SumMIT
main menu, select Payroll; then select E-Time.
- Alternatively, open SUMTIME.LBR, as described below.
- Find and open your SumMIT folder,
- Double click on the "OMNIS 7" file in your SUMMIT folder,
- Select Open Library... from the Omnis 7 File
menu,
- Use the dialogue box to open "SUMTIME.LBR" (which is
in your SUMMIT folder),
- At the logon screen, a Connection Type of "Oracle Gateway"
is selected.
- Enter your userid and password and logon.
After the first time, you can make an alias of SUMTIME.LBR (now
with Omnis icon) and run it by double clicking on it. |
