Employer Resume Critique Week - September 11th-15th, 2006 This year MITCO will be offering Employer Resume Critique Week as a Pre-Career Fair Week activity. Employers from different industries will be available throughout the week to give their perspective on your resume. Check out the companies that will be on campus at Monstertrak.com. Sign-ups will begin on September 5th. Look for "Employer Resume Critiques" under Employer Search in the Interviewtrak section. **You are only allowed to sign up for one employer resume critique.

Alumni Resume Critiques - Alumni/nae will be on hand during Pre-Career Fair week to offer recommendations for improving your resume. These alums will return to campus with varied experience, so please read their biographies to decide with whom you would like to meet. Biographies and sign-ups are available at Monstertrak.com. Sign-ups will begin on September 5th. Look for "Alumni Resume Critiques" under the Employer Search in the Interviewtrak section. **You are only allowed to sign up for one alumni resume critique.
Mock Case Interviews - In preparation for management consulting interviews, MITCO will be offering students the opportunity to practice mock case interviews with company representatives. Go to Monstertrak.com to see the companies participating and the dates they will be conducting mock interviews. Sign-ups will begin on September 5th. Look for "Mock Case Interview" under the Employer Search in the Interviewtrak section. **You are only allowed to sign up for one mock case interview.
Workshops - MITCO will offer various workshops to assist with resume development, interviewing strategies and effective techniques for navigating a career fair. These workshops are open to all MIT students. Most of them will be facilitated by employers who will be participating in the Fall Career Fair. - Resume Workshop, Wednesday Sept. 13th at 1pm
- Interviewing Workshop, Monday Sept. 18th at 2pm
- Case Interviewing Workshop, Tuesday Sept. 12th at 11am
- Mock Case Interviews, Tuesday Sept. 12th from 1pm to 4pm
- How to Work a Career Fair, Monday Sept. 18th at 7pm, Tuesday Sept. 19th at 7pm, and Wednesday Sept. 20th at 2pm.
- Firsthand Perspective on International Careers, Thursday Sept. 14th at 7pm
General Resume Critiques/Walk-in Hours - The MITCO staff will be on hand throughout Pre-Career Fair Week and Career Fair Week to answer questions and provide feedback on resumes and cover letters. Walk-in counseling sessions will be available during their normal times: 11am-1 pm. Additional hours will be offered throughout the week of Sept. 11-16. Please consult the schedule for daily walk-in hours.
Special Programs - During Pre Career Fair Week and Career Fair Week, MITCO will offer programs to special populations at MIT. If you belong to any of these special groups please contact the Careers Office (MITCO) for registration information. Special Programs include:
- Graduate Resumes for Industry, Wednesday Sept. 13th at 12:30 pm
- Graduate Resumes for Business, Friday Sept. 15th at 1:30 pm
- How to Work a Career Fair for Non-Technical Majors, Wed. Sept. 13th at 7pm
- Working a Career Fair from an LGBT Perspective, Thursday Sept. 14th at 7pm
- Networking Workshop for Minority Students, Monday Sept. 18th at 7pm
- Diversity Reception, Tuesday Sept. 19th at 7pm
