Career Services Internship Listservs
MIT Career Services have created various listservs to assist students

Internship Programs
MIT has numerous internship programs where you will have the opportunity to learn and explore. By participating in these various programs you will build relations with the program itself, MIT students and various departments.
F/ASIP
MIT's Freshman/Alumni Summer Internship Program (F/ASIP) is a truly
unique program that provides training to first year students on how
to get internships that first summer, and how to be successful at those
internships once they get there.

Undergraduate Practice Opportunities Program (UPOP) is an innovative program
that helps students to develop engineering and business skills while working in
industry or in government.

Departmental Internship Programs
MIT has numerous departmental internship programs. Typically, sophomores
and juniors participate in these various programs designed specifically
for their industry. Additionally, MIT offers the MISTI program which
has internships in Italy, India, China, France, Germany, and Singapore
for students interested in internships abroad.

Internships Abroad
Many MIT students are interested in work abroad during a summer, or after graduating. The MIT Careers Office (12-170) publishes extensive information about on-campus recruitment. By following the recruiting schedule you will be able to keep track of any overseas companies that recruit at MIT. A few of them also conduct interviews for prospective summer interns, whom they interview during their regular recruiting schedule.
