Walk-ins Note:
Walk-ins will be held at the following times for the Fall Semester beginning Monday, September 21st:
Monday, Tuesday and Friday from 12:00-2:00pm
Wednesday and Thursday from 2:00-4:00pm
Wednesday afternoon walk-ins will be held from 4:00-6:00pm on the following dates:
- September 23rd
- September 30th
- October 7th
- October 14th
- October 21st
- October 28th
- November 4th
Please note: Walk-ins are for current students and recent alumni only. Recent alumni are those who graduate less than 24 months ago.

What Are They?
Walk-in hours are brief 15-20-minute sessions to have your resume or cover letter reviewed and to answer quick questions. Please sign-up at the front desk (in 12-170). Take a seat while waiting for a staff member to assist you. The last walk-in time is 20 minutes before the end of walk-ins (ex. 1:40pm is the last walk-ins time when walk-ins end at 2pm) . If the designated walk-in hours are not suitable to your schedule, we encourage you to call 617-253-4733 to schedule an appointment to meet with a member of the MIT Career Development Center. If you have further questions after your review, our Career Assistants will help schedule a follow-up appointment with a Career Development Counselor.
At peak times, we may experience heavy volume and it may be necessary to wait. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause you.
