WINNING INTERVIEWING TECHNIQUES

SAMPLE INTERVIEW QUESTIONS

Before you begin interviewing, think about the following questions and possible responses.

  • You can discuss them with a career advisor.

  • You can schedule a mock interview by calling the MITCO: 253-4733.

  • You want to be able to communicate clear, unrehearsed answers to interviewers. As you begin to practice, have a friend, or you, yourself, take note of: your non-verbals (such as body language and eye contact); are you identifying specific skills relevant to the position and supporting your claims with concrete examples?; are you speaking positively about yourself and others?; are you showing an interest in , and knowledge of, the position and the company?
