REGISTRATION POLICIES

 

  • The Full Registration fee is $20 per student. The cost of full registration includes all events for the Conference Weekend. The Limited Registration fee is $10. The cost of limited registration includes the Keynote Address, the Luncheon, the Workshops, and the Workshop Plenary Session.
  • All Registration fees for the Conference are NON-REFUNDABLE.
  • Registration fees are payable in advance. The deadline for Online Registration has been extended to October 5th, 2006! Please do not send in any checks or money orders after Friday September 29th. After this date, you must bring all checks or money orders with you to the event so that your payment will be received by the check-in on Friday October 6th!
  • Upon arrival at MIT, the president of your association is expected to present him/herself in order to receive the Conference Welcome Packages for the entire group. The Welcome Committee will let you know where to go and whom to speak with; you will also be assigned a liaison for the weekend.

           


CONFERENCE REQUIREMENTS

 


REGISTRATION:
You MUST register and pay all your fees IN ADVANCE for your group/school in order to receive your information and welcome package for the conference. You will be getting a receipt for the paid amount. Once we have received payment, there will be NO REFUNDS and the receipt will be issued. In addition, please remember that the registration fee is for the whole weekend and not for any particular event. The registration fee is NON-NEGOTIABLE.

BUSES:
Please make sure that your transportation to and from the events is pre-arranged with your drivers. We will provide information on how to arrive at the location. Shuttles will only be available to those schools’ whose drivers will not be able to transport them to and from Conference events. The MIT Caribbean Club will not accept responsibility for members’ inability to arrive at a venue for transportation reasons.

PROPER ATTIRE:
In order to maintain a professional atmosphere for the conference, we are requesting that semi-formal attire be worn for the Official Welcome & Keynote Address, Luncheon, Workshops, and Workshop Plenary Session. Please communicate this to all your members.

* If upon arrival at MIT, you wish to add other members and pay their fees, you will be directed by your liaison on where to do. The fee will be assessed a non-negotiable ten dollar fee for a total of $30 (for those members who pay and register on site).

Prices for non-conference attendees are as follows:

Flag Party: $5 at the door
Keynote Address, Luncheon, Workshops, & Workshop Plenary Session: $10 (Limited Registration Fee)
MIT Carifest: $10 before 10 pm
