Auckland
We started our honeymoon in Auckland, the largest city in New Zealand and known as the 'city of sails.' We spent a memorable afternoon sailing in the harbor with the owners of our bed and breakfast, followed by an enjoyable bridge climb over the Auckland Harbour Bridge. We spent another day touring a nearby rainforest, including views of the country's famous kauri trees, with a side trip to a beach on the Tasman Sea housing an active gannet colony.
