Cartel 2010
The 2010 Cartel meeting will be held at MIT from Wednesday, July 14th through Friday July 16th.
Hotel
MIT has procured a block of 15 rooms at the:
Marriott Boston Cambridge
Two Cambridge Center
50 Broadway, Cambridge, MA 02142
(617) 494-6600
These rooms are available from Tuesday night 7/13 through Friday
morning 7/16. Reservations can be made by calling the number above or
1-800-228-9290. The rate should be $179/night +tax (which I'm
told is 14.45%). Reservations must be made by Wednesday, June 23,
2010.
Travel
Boston's Logan Airport (BOS) is the most convenient one to fly into. There are several regional airports nearby, but it's harder to get to MIT from them without renting a car. We recommend that you do not rent a car, as you will just have to find somewhere to put it if you do. A cab ride to the hotel will probably run you around $30. Alternately, The hotel is at the Kendall stop on the MBTA's Red Line. Logan Airport is serviced by MBTA Sliver Line buses, which allow you to transfer to the Red line (travel time is 30-45 minutes).
For those coming from closer, a number of trains and buses arrive at
Boston's South Station which is, itself, on the Red Line.
On Campus Location
The meeting will be held in the west lounge on the second floor of
the student center (MIT building w20).
