Devin Caughey

I am an assistant professor in the MIT Department of Political Science, which I joined in Fall 2012. My research focuses on American politics, often from a historical angle, with a side interest in political methodology and statistics. I am currently working on a book project based on my dissertation reseach, which examined public opinion and congressional representation in the one-party South. In my spare time I like to sing and play the cello (among other things). You can learn more about my Research, Teaching, and Personal interests by clicking on the relevant tabs above.
