Ta-Ming Shih has been a member of Prof. Kolodziejski's research group since 2006.
He conducted research in the development of silicon-based large area photonic crystals
composed of rods resulting in a M.S.E.E. thesis titled "Super-Collimation in Rod-based Photonic Crystal."
He is conducting research in the development of photonic integrated circuits. He expects
to graduate in 2011 with a Ph.D. from the Department of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science.
