Introduction
- Since February 2009, I am a doctoral candidate in the Department of Aeronautics & Astronautics at MIT.
- I am a research assistant for Professor Karen Willcox in the Aerospace Computational Design Laboratory.
- I am a student director of the Model Reduction Group (MRG) at MIT.
- My research interests include model reduction, inverse problems, uncertainty quantification, and mathematical programs constrained by stochastic partial differential equations (PDEs).
- Currently, I am working on Scalable Algorithms for Groundwater Uncertainty Analysis and Robust Optimization (SAGUARO). Our project team includes principal investigators Prof. G. Biros (GA-Tech), Prof. C. Dawson (UT-Austin), Prof. O. Ghattas (UT-Austin), Prof. Y. Marzouk (MIT), and Prof. K. Willcox (MIT) in addition to several research scientists, postdocs, and students.
- My S.M. degree was in Computation for Design and Optimization in the School of Engineering at MIT. My master's thesis is entitled Parameter and State Model Reduction for Bayesian Statistical Inverse Problems.
- I hold a S.B. in Aerospace Engineering and a S.B. in Mathematics, both from MIT.
