| | |
CharterThe mission of the MIT Council on Educational Technology (MITCET) is to enhance the quality of MIT education by encouraging use of appropriate application of technology, both on and off campus. The Council provides strategic guidance and oversight of MIT institutional activities concerning the application of information technology to education, and it advises the Dean for Undergraduate Education on priorities, policies, and opportunities. In advising the Dean, the Council will work with MIT's Information Technology Strategic Planning and Resources Coordinating Council (IT-SPARCC) to address educational technology issues within the broader context of the Institute's information technology activities. The Council will coordinate the work of the advisory committees that oversee major MIT educational technology activities (OCW, DSpace, AMPS, Stellar, OEIT, etc), including receiving periodic reports from these groups and the associated programs. |
