Why I chose the PhDCEP Program:
The PhDCEP program offers a unique blend of education in research and business within a 4-5 year period. It is truly a one-of-a-kind programme that best suits my career aspirations.
Work experience and activities:
I undertook 2 years of undergraduate research under Prof. Richard Braatz on crystallization design and control, spent a summer under Prof. Mark Stoykovich on algae biofuels, and a year of full-time research under Prof. Jackie Ying on nano-composites for Li-ion batteries as well as on biosensors. I also completed a short immersion programme at the Government Investment Corporation (GIC) of Singapore. I enjoy racket games, travelling, random-blogging, and currently am a student/researcher in the day and aspiring/amateur trader at night.
