The Chemistry Education Office staff is responsible for administering the educational programs in the Department of Chemistry. Answers to many questions about the undergraduate and graduate programs can be found on the department website, and students are encouraged to stop by and see us in the office located in 6-205.

Jennifer Weisman administers both the undergraduate and graduate programs in chemistry. She counsels and advises chemistry PhD students, majors, and other non-major undergraduates on department programs and policies. She also oversees the operation of the Chemistry Education Office and administers all education activities in the department.

Karen Shaner provides primary administrative support for the Chemistry Education Office and the undergraduate program. She is in charge of processing various undergraduate forms, such as transfer credit applications and minor forms.

Lynn Marie Guthrie-Libby provides administrative support for the graduate program, including graduate admissions and Visiting Student Weekend. She is also in charge of graduate student appointments.

As Course Coordinator, Jared Embelton provides direct support to all undergraduate and graduate chemistry subjects, including course scheduling, grading and evaluations, Registration, classroom reservations, and Stellar course websites. He also works with the department tutoring program.
