INSTRUCTOR/ASSISTANT DIRECTOR OF GENERAL UNDERGRADUATE CHEMISTRY LABORATORY The Department of Chemistry invites applications for an Instructor in and Assistant Director of General Undergraduate Chemistry Laboratory for the 2008-09 academic year. Responsibilities include teaching a general chemistry laboratory course for non-majors; supervising the laboratory and teaching assistants; maintaining laboratory equipment, facilities and supplies; safety training and enforcing safety regulations. Qualified candidates must have completed a Ph.D. in chemistry, have demonstrated excellence in teaching, outstanding organizational and interpersonal skills, and a strong commitment to undergraduate education.
