Positions Available
- Prof. Kent Wilson, University of California, San Diego has several appointments open in his research group (staff as well as postdoc) to work on the quantum control of chemical processes, ultrafast x-ray and electron diffraction, and other experiments involving ultra-intense ultrafast light.
Faculty Positions
- University of Durham, England. Fixed-Term (3 years) Lectureship available in Physical/Theoretical Chemistry.
- Hendrix College, Conway, AR. One year sabbatical replacement position available in analytical chemistry.
- University of Alberta, Edmonton, Canada. Position available for an assistant professor in physical organic chemistry.
Fellowships/Scholarships
- The Northeastern Section of the American Chemical Society announces the James Flack Norris and Theodore William Richards Undergraduate Summer Research Scholarships to promote research interactions between undergraduate students and faculty. Awards includes a stipend and money for supplies and travel.
- University of Georgia, Athens, GA announces summer research fellowships for undergraduates at the Center for Computational Quantum Chemistry. Each research fellow will conduct an independent research project in molecular quantum mechanics and spectroscopy under the guidance of a senior scientist. Award includes stipends and travel assistance.
- Technology Management Preparation Program (TMPP) at Case Western Reserve University seeks minority students in science, engineering and technology to attend a 10 week summer program. All expenses paid, paid corporate internships, preparation for graduate business study in technology management, undergraduate academic credit.
