Positions
- Aerotech Engineering, Grand Rapids, MI: A professional technical recruiting firm is soliciting applications for two positions, one a development polymer scientist and one for an analytical chemist. The former will be involved with research and development for the development of intumescent materials for automotive applications. The latter will be involved in vehicle fire research program.

Faculty Positions
- Purdue University, Indianapolis, Indiana: Applications are invited for a tenure-track position in the Department of Chemistry in the area of Biomaterials/Inorganic Chemistry. Individuals are sought who will contribute to IUPUI's growing undergraduate and graduate programs, and who will play a role in interdisciplinary projects related to biological tissue restoration. Appointments will commence on August, 196 and applications should be submitted by March 15th.
- The University of Akron, Akron, Ohio: Seeks faculty member to fill a tenure-track position in the area of solid state NMR Spectroscopy. The applicant should have a Ph.D. in Chemistry, preferably with postdoctoral experience. The successful candidate will be expected to develop a funded research program and actively participate in both undergraduate and graduate teaching.
- Grinnel College, Grinnel, Iowa: Invites applications for a one-year replacement as Assistant Professor of Chemistry beginning in August of 1996. The appointee will be expected to teach physical and introductory chemistry. A Ph.D. in chemistry or a related field is required and a strong teaching interest is expected. E-mail MINELLI@AC.GRIN.EDU
- Oregon State University, Corvallis, OR: Organic Chemistry Instructor: Full time twelve month position, with the possibility of three year commitment. Requirements include a Ph.D. in Chemistry. Prior teaching is desirable. This is a non-tenure track appointment and carries the rank of Instructor. Teach two lecture series each term in organic chemistry or general chemistry.
Postdoctoral Positions
- The University of Louisville, Louisville, Kentucky: Applications are invited for a postdoctoral position fellowship in Chemical Education available on July 1, 1996. The position is a 12 month appointment with the possibility of renewal for a second year. A Ph.D. in chemistry and previous teaching experience is required. The candidate will teach two introductory chemistry courses each semester and is expect to actively engage in research.
