How to Log On to InterviewTRAK

From www.monstertrak.com click on EMPLOYERS and then on InterviewTRAK. This will take you to the Employer Login Page.

From the Employer Login page

  1. Enter your password exactly as given to you by the Chemistry Department. Be aware that this password is CASE SENSITIVE.
  2. Enter your TELEPHONE NUMBER with area code.
  3. Scroll through the school list and highlight MIT.
  4. Click on [Log-in]. Job Descriptions have already been entered and attached to the interview schedules based on the information already gathered. At this point you can edit the information in the Job Description.
    • Click on [Edit] the selected job. This will take you to the View / Edit Job Description page.
    • Once complete; click on [Preview]. The listing will be displayed exactly as students will see it.
    • If satisfied with the way the listing appears, click on [Approve & Submit].

View Resumes

From the InterviewTRAK Employer Menu, Click on [STEP 3.]. This will take you to the Manage Events Main Page. Take note of the Employer Dates for each event; it is very important to pay attention to the InterviewTRAK deadlines. Contact Chemistry Headquarters (chemistryhq@mit.edu) with any changes or questions.

  1. Use the radio buttons on the Manage Events Main Page to select the appropriate Interview Date.
  2. Click on [View/Download Resumes]. This will take you to the Manage Events > Download or Email Students page.
  3. Click on the hyperlinked name(s) of the student(s) in the list of Submitted Resumes to view the students’ resume(s)
  4. To Download resumes
    • Click on the check box(es) next to the Students’ name(s).
    • Click on the Download Resumes button.
    • Use the radio button(s) to select the format in which wish to download the selected resume(s).
    • Click on Download Resumes

Preselecting candidates for interviews:

From the Manage Events Main Page.

  1. Click on [Preselect Worksheet].
  2. Use the Pull-down menus corresponding to the Student(s) name(s) in the Preselect List to alter the Preselect Status as desired.
    • Preselect: Candidates whom the recruiter has chosen to interview.
    • Alternate: The recruiter may choose to list supplemental candidates who may sign up if there are remaining interview time slots.
    • Consider: The Consider status option is for recruiters' convenience and is not viewable by candidates.
    • Decline: The Decline status option for recruiters' convenience and is not viewable by candidates.
  3. Click on [Submit Changes]. The changes will be reflected in the Preselect List immediately.

 

View/Print Schedules

The Department will provide you with a copy of your Interview Schedule on the day of your visit.

If you would like to view or print your Interview Schedule earlier follow the directions below from the Manage Events Main Page.

  1. Click on [View Schedule]. This will take you to View / Print Schedules page.
  2. Select the Check box(es) corresponding to the schedule you would like to view/print.
  3. Click on the [View/Print] button. This will take you to the Print Schedules page.
  4. Select Print from the File Menu of your browser.
