Welcome to the MIT Department of Chemistry’s Industrial Recruiting Program site.

The MIT Department of Chemistry hosts visits by industrial recruiters interested in hiring PhD-level chemists. Recruiters are invited to make presentations about their companies and to interview candidates in the department.

Colgate/ACS Workshop A summary of the presentation with valuable tips for your job search.	Administrator's use only

In preparation for Fall 2009 Industrial Recruiting, the Chemistry Department, in conjunction with Chemical Engineering, the ACS, and Colgate-Palmolive, presents an intensive workshop offering sessions on Managing an Effective Job Search, Business Presentation Skills, What to Expect from an On-site Visit, and Strategies for Successful Interviewing. In addition, individual sessions providing resume review and mock interviewing are provided by ACS and Colgate. Sign up for the latter is required by registering for CareerBridge. When registration has been approved search under "Colgate."

The ACS/Colgate workshop will be presented August 3rd and 4th; preference for participation is given to graduate students, postdocs, and alumni in the departments of Chemistry and Chemical Engineering.
