The Swiss Federal Institute of Technology has selected Professor JoAnne Stubbe, Novartis Professor of Chemistry and Professor Biology as its 2009 recipient of the Prelog Medal.The Prelog medal is conferred annually to an individual identified by the Institute as having made fundamental contributions in stereochemistry broadly defined. Professor Stubbe is recognized for her pioneering work in chemical biology. The medal will be presented in Switzerland in October of this year.
