The ACS Fellows Oversight Committee and the ACS Board of Directors, have selected Stephen J. Lippard, Arthur Amos Noyes Professor of Chemistry in the Department of Chemistry (right) and Steven R. Tannenbaum, Underwood-Prescott Professor of Chemistry and Toxicology in the Departments of Chemistry and Biological Engineering, (left) to the distinguished 2011 class of Fellows of the American Chemical Society. The ACS Fellows Program was created by the ACS Board of Directors in December 2008 “to recognize members of ACS for outstanding achievements in and contributions to Science, the Profession, and the Society.”
