Hi, I'm Chris Murphy, an engineer in the MIT Network Operations Group, part of Information Systems. My wife Helen Webb was a graduate student in the MIT/Woods Hole Joint Program in Oceanography/Oceanographic Engineering and is now an engineer at Atlantic Aerospace Electronics Corporation. We have a young daughter, Erin, whose web page is in dire need of an update. When not fixing networks I'm generally involved in one of several hobbies, including a community theater group, the North Shore Players, home-brewing beer, model building (mainly aircraft), and occasional other things I'll document some time. I am the designer of MIT's PPP service, commonly known as Tether, and am currently involved in planning for potential deployment of wireless networks at the MIT campus.
