UCO Fellowships

The following groups are signatories to the statement of faith and participants in United Christian Organization. All contacts can be reached by adding an @mit.edu to the name in parenthesis unless specified otherwise.

Asian Baptist Student Koinonia (ABSK)

We are a fellowship of students who are committed to God and to each other. We believe that fellowship within the body of Christ is essential to living out a Biblical faith. Even as we strive hard to glorify God through our studies here at MIT, we want to grow spiritually in our relationships with Him and each other as well. We invite you to join us for a Bible study or any of our other activities – please stop by any time! And don’t let our name fool you; you don’t have to be Asian or Baptist, as long as you're looking for Koinonia (Christian fellowship)!

Meets: Friday 7:00pm, Student Center PDR 1&2

ACF is about God transforming our lives, our cultures, our community, the campus, and the world. In order to help us fulfill our purpose, we meet regularly as a large group on Fridays and as individual smaller dorm-based groups each week. Come and check out what we're all about. And no, you don't have to be Asian! MITACF is affiliated with InterVarsity Christian Fellowship/USA.

We meet every week for a time of worship, getting into the Word of God, and just hanging out. We also have several opportunities for growth through our weekly meetings, Life Groups (small group Bible study and community), and Real Life (where university students from all over Boston come together on Fridays to worship God, seek his will and grow in our faith.)

Cross Products

The Cross Products are the most "normal" co-ed Christian a cappella group at MIT! We exist to glorify God through music and our lives, and to tell others about the ways that He has changed us. We are each products of the cross of Jesus Christ!
One part of our vision is to reflect God's heart for all people. Last spring break we sang and volunteered at schools, churches, nursing homes, and homeless shelters in the Dallas area. Around here, you might find us singing with groups from other colleges, caroling in Lobby 7, or rocking out at our big semester concert!

We are excited for the upcoming school year, and the possibilities that God has in store for our group.

With weekly small-group Bible studies, prayer meetings, large group events, a retreat, and outreach programs for seekers and non-Christians, GCF has a diverse and interesting body whose central focus is Jesus Christ - his life, death, and resurrection; the new life and purpose that we have in him; and the mission we have from him to the rest of the world.

Impact Movement

We are a Christian fellowship geared towards minorities on campus. Our goal is to create an environment where people can ask questions about faith in general as well as about where faith intersects our culture.

We have weekly bible studies for men and women, as well as monthly large group meetings that address those tough questions (like love and relationships, the intersection of faith and culture, being a Christian and a scientist/engineer) over a full breakfast on a Sunday afternoon.

Check out our website for more information about bible studies, discussions, weekly prayer, and conferences (in ATL!). Feel free to email us too. We hope to see you at one of our events very soon!

Meetings: See website calendar for weekly meeting information.

We also participate in service projects, retreats, activities with Catholic communities at other colleges, and various other off-campus trips/activities. Anyone, including those seeking God, is invited to join us at any of our events!

*Comment on the Statement of Faith: TCC has chosen not to sign the UCO Statement of Faith for various reasons, but wishes to remain affiliated with UCO.

United Christian Fellowship (UCF)

Have you ever wondered what difference prayer makes? Ever thought about the many styles people have of praising God? Ever questioned where God is in a world so full of injustice and suffering?

As you juggle friends, classes, activities, UROPs, job-hunts and all that life throws at you, UCF invites you to take time out of your busy schedule to recharge, focus on God, or explore these and other questions. United Christian Fellowship is InterVarsity’s multi-ethnic, interdenominational chapter, which seeks deeper community and a better understanding of God's heart and word at MIT. We meet weekly for Bible study, worship, prayer, fellowship and other campus activities. Multiple times a year we also leave campus for retreats that give us a chance to relax and spend more time hanging out with each other and with God, or for service projects around the city to care for those beyond the campus. Come join us as we learn to grow in community with one another, learn more about God and see what transformations are possible for our world! Whether you've been reading the Bible since you were a kid, or you've just been intrigued to pick one up for the first time, we'd love to have you join us!

Meets: Monday 8pm, McCormick Brown Living Room
