Directions to the CI Lab

From the North:

If you are approaching MIT from I-95 South, take the I-93 South exit into Boston. From I-93, take exit 26 – Storrow Drive West. Follow the signs to the Route 2A/Massachusetts Avenue exit (approximately 1.5 miles). The exit will be on the left, just before the Harvard Bridge (more appropriately called the Mass Ave Bridge). The Charles River will be on your right. As you cross the bridge, you will be looking at MIT—the Great Dome and academic facilities are on the right, the dormitories and athletic facilities are on the left. The main entrance is located at 77 Massachusetts Avenue.

From the South:

If you are approaching MIT from I-95 North, take the I-93 North exit (the Southeast Expressway) into Boston. Take exit 26 – Storrow Drive West and continue as above.

From the West:

(I-90, the Mass Turnpike) Follow I-90 east to exit 18 towards Cambridge/Brighton. Following the signs to Cambridge, cross the River Street Bridge, and continue straight for about 1 mile to Central Square. Turn right onto Massachusetts Avenue and follow for about one-half mile to 77 Mass Ave, the main entrance to MIT, which will be on your left. If you cross the Charles River, you've gone too far.
