The CI Lab is a proud supporter of the MIT IDEAS competition held each Spring. The CI Lab awards a $2,000 prize to the IDEAS competition entry that best answers the needs of communities. The criteria for selection include the sustained collaboration between MIT and the community, the potential impact of the technology and the elegance of the technical solution.
The 2004 winners of the CI Lab-sponsored award are Tad Hirsh and Jeremy Liu, founders of Speakeasy.
